The comprehension is a sequencing task. The footballer’s day has been divided into sections and students need to put them in the correct order.
There is an ’emotions’ wheel so that students can plot the day against how the footballer will have been feeling during this part if the day- this challenges them to look beyond any obvious sequencing words to really understand the content of each section.
Students can use the correctly sequenced piece as a model for their own piece of writing.
